Time does fly, even if one is not having fun.
The months of March and April have gone past in a flash, but without many events taking place, many of which I have already forgotten by now.
One highlight for the month of March would probably be the Term 2 Week 2 activities. I was attached to the Sec 2 Camp and was at the Labrador Adventure Centre for five days, facilitating two camps for the students. I personally enjoyed the second camp more... because the students were from classes that I am teaching or have taught before. Another reason was because we were all more prepared too, after going through the first camp. It was a tiring one week and I tried dragon-boating for the first time in my life.
The month of April was sheer mental torture, with so much to teach and so little time before the mid-year examinations. Days were spent churning out notes, worksheets and class tests... with the accompanying backlash of marking. I was tasked to set two papers for the impending major examinations... and am quite happy with my masterpieces :P
The month of May marks the beginning of the examinations... and prior to that, a preceding week of inhumane revision (ahem... inhumane for the teachers, not for the students). And now, one will reap what one has sowed over the past 17 weeks of Term 1 and 2. Hard work will eventually pay off... and those who depend on luck will eventually lose out.
A pleasant weekend to all...
