"Hmm. One: Did I force you into coppering, or was it your own decision? Two: Is there anything particular that makes me a good father? Hell, am I a good father? "Oh, I always wanted it." He smiles wryly. "You've always been my, ahem, hero. More or less. And that sort of answers the next one, too. Anyway, you're caring, but firm. You teach what you think is right. Not honor, like the nobles preach about, but genuine out there and do it right and wrong. Law. You know. And you know I'll eat with you, especially if you're buying. Of course I've gotten hurt. I've been a copper for years. Nothing too bad, though." He laughs at the last question. "You mean why men?" He shrugs. "It's just the way I am. I have never wanted a woman in my life."
