Untitled poem
Poem that i found undone in a program i have, so started to add to it...and still in the process of adding to it. Let me know what you guys think. Need FEED BACK!!
As the sun starts to set
and the darkness surrounds you,
don't become afraid.
Take a look on the outside
and prepare to be amazed.
For the stars will twinkle
and the moon will shine
just for you
as you look up into the evening sky.
The heavens abound you
as you walk amongst the earthy green ground,
and just for once
you feel that you are sound.
You have always had a feeling of being lost,
but as you are here
in this wide open place,
you are starting to feel like you have been found.
Your life is slowly starting to unfold,
aa you feel like you are as radiant
as the stars that start to glisten throughout the dimly lit sky of gold.
No one knows of your stories,
Or what you have that lies in the past.
And for once, in a moment, you feel like you can last.
As you take a walk down the winding road,
Making sure you follow every curve,
You notice a trail, that follows off into the untouched world.
Your curiosity is starting to grow
as you begin walking farther down the narrow road.
You are realizing that life has so much to offer
and wonder to yourself why you ever wanted to take cover.
