I just got back from the midnight showing and it was so awesome.
I started this last night but I was too tired to finish it. I'm going to talk about the whole movie so if you haven't seen it don't read this.
It was really everything I could have hoped for. There was more piracy from Will & Elizabeth. Jack was just as crazy and awesome as ever and it definitely made room for the next installment.
This one was all just plot development for the third one, which in a way is a good thing because now it won't turn out like x-men where they tried to jam in too many things and just ended up with a really boring movie.
The villains were very cool here. Davy Jones and his crew were just awesome. Not as scary as Barbossa but just the concept of selling your soul to put of death and the being in the ocean so long that you start to turn into it is scary enough. I was really pleased with myself about Will's dad because I was so on the nose about him. Davy Jones whole heart thing is very cool. Just the fact that it's still beating even though it's not in his chest. The cragon was very cool and the way it pulled that entire ship under water was just awesome. I am so completely jealous of Keira Knightley because she got to kiss not only Orlando Bloom but Johnny Depp too. I hate her, she's so pretty it's disgusting.
All in all, it was an awesome movie and I can't wait to see it again.
