Ah, Denmark. He means well. Though, I don't think he's in Spero with us. The people here live in several cities like this.

[Sunao leans a bit closer to get a better look through the video feed. That sadness is understandable--Fortuna can be a frightening place, though after two years here, Sunao doesn't look at it in quite the same way.]

No. Everyone here used to live in a city called Discedo, but something happened there a few weeks ago. We had to leave because of that. Some of us might go back, but I'm not sure if I will.

You're welcome. I stay at the hotel in Spero, so it might be a few minutes of walking. I'll keep this on though.

[There's a rustling sound and a door closing. Then a sound of footsteps over the communicator.]

...Oh, and it's nice to meet you. Or it will be in a few minutes. [Sounding kind of teasing there.]

I see...It must have been something pretty serious, huh...

O-oh! Please try to be careful, Sunao-san! I've heard some weird noises nearby and I wouldn't want you to get hurt! [she's going to get out of the room now and look around to see if she can spot you. if you see a vertically challenged girl in a waitress/maid uniform flailing her arms around, that's her.]

[Hopefully it's not the raptors again. Though, in retrospect, Sunao doesn't want to scare this girl by mentioning dinosaurs. And besides it was likely something smaller.]

I'll be there in a minute or two. Tell me if you see anything, ok?

[Going into protective mode here, so Sunao speeds up a bit. Eventually the flailing girl comes into view--and not with a pack of dinos or shadow monsters or anything else on her heels luckily.

Sunao meanwhile is a (kind of tall) androgynous looking young man? at least in form. She has some gender issues for sure. And she'll be hurrying over to Popura and then glancing around to make sure there aren't any monsters creeping about.]

You seem to be ok. That's good [...] Where did you hear the noises, by the way?

[Probably a good idea to avoid that room, or wherever it was.]

[askfa definitely much taller than her, that's for sure. for now, he looks pretty much male but I guess she'll find out soon enough! Huge smile is on her face now as this is the first person she's found while here and he's Japanese! So she'll just...bounce around for a bit, introducing herself.]

[Well, this cheerful girl is kind of cute. Sunao will space out a bit and stop looking for monsters--instead, just listens to the chatter and bouncing around. It's nice to see someone this happy here.

Then she hears a sound too and glances up into a corner. There's definitely something there. A small bat something with teeth.]

Ah, yes. It's good to see you too...hm, maybe we should walk this way.

[Away from the Keese. Sunao offers a hand to the shorter girl and wonders offhand how old she is.]

[she's used to people staring at her like this at first...and i guess, as long as he doesn't start picking on her then he's fine! She hears the noise as well and the teensiest little scream comes out, as she comes behind him.]

[A weird chittering comes from the corner after that tiny scream, and red eyes open and poke out of the gloom at them. Looks like the Keese woke up from its nap.]

Ok, let's go kind of quickly.

[Well Sunao is weird, but not that kind of a creeper. In any case she turns her head back toward the wall as they walk away. If the Keese does fly at them, there's a way to stop it. Hopefully it won't though.]

[ajskfasf okaaaaaay popura will start tightening her grip and walking just a bit faster! Shutting your eyes always helps with scary things so she shuts them while the scary thing goes away]
