I... well, I'm sorry, if we upset you or anything. It's just that we have personal experience of the damage "fiction" can do, as I'm sure you remember. And I tend to be protective of people I care about and you mean a lot to me.

It's okay. You didn't upset me. I'm actually thankful, in a way, but I don't want you to worry about me because of it. That fiction wasn't ill-intended, contrary to the one about us. And... you mean a lot to me too.

I know Yoruichi well enough to know that she didn't mean to hurt me. She didn't hurt me, really. It's just fiction, after all.

Not at all. It was Yagami who wrote it, so his intentions were clear and you had every right to react that way. Were I in your place I'd probably turn our cabin into an igloo or something just to unwind.

I do trust you, I just... well. I know how I would feel were someone to write and post a Light/Matt story like that and I definitely would be suspicious of their motives, no matter how long I had known them.

Didn't mean to doesn't mean she shouldn't have known it would have consequences. If she really didn't, I can't imagine she's very good at her job. Half the people on livejournal could probably have guessed Matt's and my responses to that!
