Link! [ Personality ] :
He's a playful and cheery guy, but he's uttery useless as well. When he is helping the situation, he's almost always unaware of it. The main thing he wants to do is settle down and get a beautiful girlfriend, and being extremely oblivious to the situation, he tends not have his priorities straightened out. It takes a lot to make him take things seriously, as he's quite self-centered and prone to putting his problems ahead of everyone else's.
Larry takes offense to things very easily. He is very difficult to talk to because he very frequently comes to wrong conclusions with spectacular leaps of logic that would give even Edgeworth a headache. He spends a lot of his time raving about his current girlfriend and doing whatever he needs to please her. He's very goal-oriented, but doesn't put much thoughts into plans. In fact, he's probably utterly incapable of making a good plan to achieve anything. He can't even express his feelings properly; the two times he's tried to write love letters, they came out sounding like blackmail.
He's not independent at all. He's lazy, and prefers it if other people could tell him what to do. However, he'll only obey if he likes that person. That's why he'd do anything for his girlfriends, but if Edgeworth orders him to do something, he feels like he's being bullied. Things tend to go wrong whenever he decides to do something for himself, but things also go wrong whenever someone orders him around too much; that will cause him to do pretty much the opposite of whatever he was told to do. It's a lose-lose situation for everyone around him, but he himself doesn't seem to mind.
Larry has a penchant for getting into messy situations. Getting accused of murder is nothing new, as he's had tons of experience in court, though not the same kind of experience as his lawyer buddies. He's somewhat close to them, and he will stick up for them when they're in trouble, but he really can't resist lording it over them until he's threatened to stop. Still, even when he's blindly stumbling into a situation, he's going to do everything he can to help.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Larry somehow brings the best and worst luck to the people around him. In fact, he'll often stir up tons of trouble and migraines for everyone, but he'll somehow have that one last vital piece of evidence (well, maybe not the last, considering the type of baddies the heroes face) that can turn everything around. You could call him a four-leafed clover that walked under a ladder, or something to that effect.
At a first glance, he's pretty charismatic. He'll flatter and praise, and he is pretty adorable when he wants to be. That's most likely how he keeps getting lots and lots of model girlfriends. He also finds himself being shoved from job to job. If he keeps on getting fired, then he must have made a great first impression to get hired again and again.
However, despite his charisma, it doesn't apply to actually keeping his girlfriends. Sooner or later, they'll dump him or just leave altogether. Most of the time, though, it's implied that it isn't his fault. He's kind and eager to please, so it's probably the fact that he chooses to have models as partners, which means they often travel abroad for their work.
And, well, he's not the brightest crayon in the box. He's frankly a huge klutz, such as breaking a very important prop to use in a stage show while practicing. And once, when accused of murder and being defended by his friend, he questioned his friend's theory in front of the guy that wanted to arrest him. He gets worked up easily, which is why he can sometimes miss the obvious, but that really doesn't excuse him sometimes; he once pointed out three contradictions in his own testimony during a cross-examination.
Still, he's a good person at heart. It's just things often get very, very twisted on their way out.

He didn't know what hit him. First was the lights. Or, lack of lights, really. He didn't mean to fall asleep in the park, honest! He was doing just great that afternoon selling Miharu's blue dogs, but the smell was just so tempting so he might have taken a teeny tiny bite out of one... And then another bite, and another... Well, one thing led to the next, and he was stuffed full of blue dogs and sleepy. The warm afternoon sun... the satisfied feeling of a full stomach... a comfortable French wooden bench... There was no resisting it! The call of sleep was too strong!
Larry looked around. This was definitely not Paris anymore. And his hot dog stand was gone. He frowned, and scratched his head.
"This doesn't look like France to me," he muttered. "And I'm wet," he added, glancing down at his soaked jacket. It was quiet and peaceful in the foreign park, in the shade of a large tree. There wasn't anyone around, but Larry wasn't too bothered by that; he usually found himself alone whenever he went for a stroll back home. He thought deeply for a moment, before a sudden realization struck him. His expression twisted into one of panic.
"NOOO!! Miharu won't ever talk to me again if I lose the stand! NOO!!"
He clenched his fists and ran around the unfamiliar park, searching desperately for the stand. "My beautiful Miharu!" he cried out loud, tears in his eyes. "I'll save the blue dogs, my princess! For I am the Steel Samurai! No-Longer-Married Man of Neo Olde Tokyo!"
He paused in his mad search to strike a pose, before remembering he had no Samurai Spear. Crestfallen for a moment, he pouted and crossed his arms before recalling his current situation. "To the stand! For my dear Miharu, I shall keep it safe!"
