Apartment Interior, Late Night

Viewed from above, four people sit at a table
cigarette smoke hangs in the air
empty beer cans full ones and playing cards
a bowl of chips an ashtray two pair

Turned on its side this image flows outward
the viewer comfortably seated
brought to us buy all of the following
after these messages repeated

Upstairs, a roomate scripts perfect poetry
another searches hours online
nude pictures of actresses old enough
to be younger sisters of mine
