A wounded baby deer lays paralyzed and shocked after a devastating accident involving a large, fast metal contraption. In the deer's current stage of growth, she did not know the dangers of walking on the hard black and yellow ground. She wandered carelessly into the street, and was mauled by the front left hanbd side of a pick up truck, which proceeded to gain speed as it drove away.
She lays in the road, her mind racing with thoughts attempting to explain her current predicament.
The worst part about the whole mess is that every car that speeds past either throws empty beer cans, candy wrappers, or in a few very unfortunate cases, the car directs its wheels toward the poor wounded deer.
It is very easy to put down what is already so low it can't get back up.
