Still in July
Mohinder calls Martha to help save
Diana. Things are slightly awkward as, it turns out, Mohinder hates vampires. And Martha is unaware that he knows Diana's secret. She decide she'll have to talk with him about it later.
Diana then calls many women for help regarding how to deal with her angel crush. Martha helps as best she can. She also has a conversation with
Mohinder.
August
A few days later Martha tries to stop
Sam from doing something stupid. While waiting for him to show up later, she responds to
Donna's roll call. He comes to her
her room and explains what's happening. Martha takes it quite well all things considered.
She has a verbal duel with
House, connects with
Bruce Wayne over clothing, and discusses how the creature in the library is not the face of Boe with
Handy Later Martha reminds Diana that she'll stand in front of
Pitchforks and torches. Then Sam drops the news that he's
leaving the safety of the barrier However, she doesn't have a chance to talk with Sam because
Handy,
Elle, and a
mess of other people have been shrunk. She collects a lot of blood samples. She also tries to keep
Peter from freaking out on the roof.
The next day, she gets
visits from Bruce Wayne, a teenage Doctor, and Sam. She and Sam finally have their fight.
Martha and Mohinder finally get a chance to talk regarding the
child crisis Days later
Mohinder lets everyone know there is a strep epidemic. Martha, however, only pays slight attention to it as
Sam is leaving on the next recovery mission. She plans to be with him. But, the Doctor sort of
foils that plan. Martha leaves the Doctor's room upset.
She gets strep two days later and calls
Dr. House for medicine. Which comes to her by way of
Agent Coulson Sadly, the medicine seems to be doing nothing as the next day, she shows signs of scarlet fever. She sends a
failed private video to the other doctors. House doesn't believe her. Harry does. Kurt immediately panics and she has to talk him down from it. She convinces Donna and Daneel that she'll be fine because she's Martha jones and always fine. She doesn't bother to convince Sam. And she tells Diana, who insists on sitting by her side, that she's going to die. Which she does. In front of Sam and Diana...
