[Hi Route, have a Cloud with a Pidgey on his shoulder. He looks tired and worn out, long day working at the Inn and all, but he's fine! Just curious now that he has time to actually ask what has been nagging him for awhile now.]
Can anyone tell me if they know any Pokemon that're good for riding?

Ponyta evolve into this. They can handle a lot more weight than you'd think.

How do I get a Ponyta?

Find someone who can sell you an egg. I've never seen any wild ones here.

...makes sense, I guess.
Thanks.

They're actually kind of small, but hopefully they'll eventually be able to carry someone.

...Well, I do have two of them. I could probably keep an eye out and see if any eggs show up sometime.

Name's Cloud.

Cecil has an Arcanine named Flare that he mentioned riding before. I believe it is a matter of the Pokémon being both large and strong enough to carry a human.

Probably. But they need to be fit for riding too. Just cause a creature is big and strong enough doesn't mean it can run the distances too.

Forgive me, I am no expert in breeding creatures. [Only stabbing them in the face.] Still, the trip he mentioned lasted two weeks and was in a snowstorm. If you were able to find and raise a Growlithe, you would likely have a fine mount.

[You should get a new hobby, man.]
So, what have you been up to?
[He's really just curious. He's bored of this town already.]
