I know I usually update about once a decade, and two in one day is nuts for me... but I liked this idea and I have plenty of time today...
Go to Wikipedia, type in your birthday but not the year. Pick out three events, two births and one death, including year, and post.
Events
-1718 - Off the coast of North Carolina, British pirate Edward Teach (best known as "Blackbeard") is killed in battle with a boarding party led by Lieutenant Robert Maynard.
-1963 - John F. Kennedy assassination: In Dallas, Texas, US President John F. Kennedy is assassinated and Texas Governor John B. Connally is seriously wounded. Later the same day, US Vice-President Lyndon B. Johnson is sworn in as the 36th President of the United States.
-1988 - In Palmdale, California, the first prototype B-2 Spirit stealth bomber is revealed.
Births
1710 - Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, German composer
1921 - Rodney Dangerfield, American comedian and actor
Death
1963 - C. S. Lewis, Irish author, AND Aldous Huxley, British author (I know, it's two, but I say it's okay because it's the exact same day, and I had to point out the coincidence.
Not a bad day, if I may say so.... Blackbeard, JFK, Bach, Rodney Dangerfield, and a steath bomber... good combo
honorable mentions go to Lebanese Independence, xbox 360 release date, and Terry Gilliam (of the Monty Python crew)
