Yes. I know. You've only seen a million posts like this today. Hush. It's a bandwagon.
Anyway, I'm happy to introduce you to:
Ino is 14, bossy, quick-tempered, opinionated and a ninja. She’s five feet tall, weighs only 85lbs, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She loves flowers. At the moment Ino works Tuesdays at Wellspring Arms and Meditation Centre, and spends the rest of her time socializing or training. Currently, she’s learning basic healing jutsu from Kabuto (sound-loyalty) and is working on with Cable (spring-lost) to refine her skill at possessing people (Shintenshin no Jutsu).
Dr. Juli Mizrahi has blue-green eyes, dark brown hair that reaches her chin, and is around 5’6’’ and slender underneath the layers of clothing she wears. She looks young for her age (43), and carries herself with quiet, proud dignity. She is level-headed, and always gives the air of being calm and collected. She is slow to show real anger and will hold on to a grudge for years. Confident in herself, and her abilities, it might take her a while to decide on making a decision, but once she does things get done quick as a flash. Juli is a scientist turned politician and is a firm believer in that if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself.
She is a widow - her husband, Joachim Mizrahi committed suicide. Her daughter, Sakura Mizrahi, is also dead. She’ll talk about Joachim, but not often about Sakura. Guess which death affected her worse.
This semester she’ll be teaching Ye Shall Be As Gods? on Wednesdays.
He’s 5’10” with light brown eyes and golden hair. When Makoto isn’t dressing up as a girl his hair comes just past his shoulders. When he’s being a girl, his hair reaches about mid-way down his back. (It’s a wig.) His build isn’t anything that impressive - which is a good thing since he’s got to pass as a girl - but he’s quite strong nonetheless, thanks to martial arts training.
Makoto, his father’s only son and heir to their dojo, wants to be an actor. His father doesn’t want him to. Eventually they reach a deal - if Makoto can pass as a girl for the rest of his time at high school then his father will concede and let him do as he wants.
Now. Makoto is a boy, yes. But, at least for the first while he’ll be attending Fandom as a girl. I’ll do my best to make it clear in the narrative, but yes, he will be dressing like, sounding like and acting like a girl.
He is, canonically, an excellent actor. At Fandom however, it’s doubtful his real gender will stay hidden long. All those pesky people with powers, you understand.
