[Donna is quickly realizing that half of traveling with the Doctor means wandering off. and so she is at the zoo! Mind you, with good reason. The Doctor suspects something in the zoo of being an alien in disguise. Naturally, he gave Donna the task of finding it while he did Doctor-things. Donna is now leaning on the railing in front of the monkey

[Rose, having a day off, was walking through the zoo, until her phone rings at the monkey cage]

Er, yeah, this is Rose.....I'm at the zoo. The monkey cages. God, they're always my favorite part.

[looks up] Might want to be careful of these ones. [then she stares at her a bit] Haven't I seen you before?

Dunno. It's possible, if you're from London.

I've got it! Bins and keys? I told you about my mum when you were off by the road?

--oh! I remember that now. Weird night, that was.

[notquiteawidow]

You don't even know the half of it. Bloody aliens. They're always trouble, eh?

[Laughs] Depends on the ones you meet, but usually they are.

The skinny idiot type always are. [looks back at the cage] Maybe the monkey type, too. Dunno yet. They've mostly been scratching their arses but I'm keeping an eye on them anyway.

The skinny idiot type are the worst, I think.

Alien monkeys, do you think?

Especially if they've got blue boxes.

[nods] Yeah, see, they've been hiding on Earth for ages and no one would think it were monkeys! They're always just eating bananas in cages. Great place to stay low for an invasion, right?

--you didn't just say "blue boxes," did you?

[notquiteawidow]

[staring intently at monkeys!] Oh, yeah, the flying time traveling police box type.

[Have a vaguely gaping Rose] D'you by any chance know someone called the Doctor?

[notquiteawidow]

[have an equally surprised Donna] Tall, twiggy, hair out like this- [does a messy hair hand gesture] -never actually changes his clothes?

He changes them, sometimes. He'd smell worse if he didn't. Has to be reminded sometimes, though....

--hold on. You seriously know the Doctor?

I was thinking of buying him some suits and labeling them for days of the week so he remembers but that last part doesn't work so well when you time travel.

But yes! I know him. He's trouble. Talks a lot and needs a good slap sometimes when he gets that serious face.
