I'm just surprised you're here.

[On his end, he's fidgeting with his PDA, not sure what to say. He was here with Xion. Kairi was here with Riku. Actually now that he thought about it, he had no idea of who else was here.

[There was a list of people he was curious about, but with this... maybe Axel was around somewhere? It was hope he was going to hold onto for now.]

[There's only a brief few minutes before, instead of a text, Roxas gets the reply in visual form. A very wide-eyed Kairi, actually. She's hoping he'll return the change in feed.]

[For a moment, he's surprised to see Kairi suddenly switch to the video feed. His time to get to know her had been rather limited, all things considered. A guessing game somehow played when she tried to remember Sora, that time where he'd manifested with Naminé before both of their Others and then a brief smile when everyone had reunited at the Destiny Islands. For some reason though, he didn't expect she'd be all that pleased to see him.

He was uncertain, but against his better judgement, he decided that if she wanted to see him, he'd oblige. A little fussing with his PDA brought the image of a rather uncertain-looking Roxas to the screen for her. Especially without his Other around, he wasn't sure if she'd view his presence as a good or a bad thing -but somehow, knowing her as he did, through those memories, he didn't think she'd outright reject him.]

Yeah, it's really me. [He'll scratch the back of his head awkwardly.] It's been awhile, I guess that's the right thing to say.

[She remembered, more so the latter of the meetings than the voice in her heart. But she knew it was Roxas, at least. So his uncertainty is met with a smile. Whether she knew the full story of what happened to Sora or not, she didn't hold any grudges against the boy.]

It has. I didn't know you were here too... When did you get here? [Had she missed it on the feed? Did Riku know? If so, why hadn't he said anything? ..Actually no, that last question was kind of obvious.]

As much as he worried, as much as he didn't think that there should be any reason she should accept him -after all, Riku clearly hadn't given a care about him past the fact that he needed to go back where he'd come from. But when he saw that smile, it eased that uncertain burden he carried.]

I actually just got here not too long ago... well... [He checks the display on his PDA, remembering that despite how time was blurring for him as he sought something of a routine, it'd been almost a month.] I guess if twenty-two days still means 'not long ago'.

Yeah, it took a while for us to get settled. I ended up arriving with a friend of mine.

[Thinking about it, there was no reason why she would know about Xion, so for now he figures he'll wait on opening that can of worms. No sense in overwhelming the poor girl. Honestly, even he was still putting that story together.]

Don't worry about it. The only one I've met so far that needs to apologize is that one jerk that's as useless as he is obnoxious.
