I'm waiting to see if Sawong is going to reappear sometime this evening - from what I can piece together through the hysteria, her PC has been hit with a variant of the W32.Netsky / Looksky worm. Seems the easiest way to rid yourself of this thing is to nuke the disc, which means she'll probably be gone for the rest of the night. Ah well.
Had a look at that Kindle thing Amazon came out with in the States last week. Was tempted but for two crucial points: 1) It's too expensive for what it is, charging for blogs is ridiculous, and 2) It's ugly as sin.
Joost users rejoice! There is another halfway decent channel of stuff now - Tokyo Pulp has some lovely old kung-fu stuff, including a Jackie Chan film that I surprisingly had not seen before (Wheels on Meals).
WoW update - 80 gold in the Guild Bank fundraising kitty, Frrumm and Gardium power-levelled last week and are almost at Krungar's level, and Sawong and I are working on two healer characters (Druid and Shaman, both specialised in Restoration) to give us more party options.
And for the love of Grud, could someone please destroy eBay before I go insane. Thx.
