Aravis had found Karal's note upon waking up, and had been to the stables twice today to check on Trenor. But now, without workshops or a reason to go pester the horse, she was left with not a whole lot to do in her roomie-less room

Having decided that both dinner and further reconnaissance were in order, Seely knocked on Aravis's door carrying take-out from Ching Tai's.

Aravis abandoned her hope of dumping water onto some poor inconspicuous person, and instead opened the door. "Seely! I wasn't expecting to see you tonight."

Seely grinned. "I was hungry," he said and held up the bags of take-out. "I figured you might be too."

"You guessed well," she said, stepping aside so he could come in. "What is that?"

"Ching Tai's," Seely replied as he came in. "Chinese food, it's good."

"Chinese?"

[socksofcool]

"I'll point it out on a map to you after we eat," Seely promised. "But for now...dinner time."

"I don't have plates or silverware," she said apologetically.

"It's Chinese take-out," Seely replied. "You can eat it out of the box and they provide the chopsticks."

"Chopsticks?"

[socksofcool]

Seely dug around in the bag, then handed her a pair. "Chopsticks."

Aravis stared at them. "...you eat with these?"

Seely nodded. "Yeah, like this..." He dug out another pair, and started clicking them.

"Of course," Aravis said, attempting to mimic what he was doing and nearly sending one of the chopsticks flying across the room. "...I meant to do that."

"Just takes a little practice," Seely said encouragingly, and held his hand so she could see how he was holding the chopsticks. "And the right grip."

"Right," Aravis said, properly holding the chopsticks after a moment. "Why are we using sticks, anyway?"
