"This is it," Aravis said happily, gesturing to the room. "Wait for it." She glanced back behind her, then flicked a little button on the wall. "See? It's like magic!"

Cor was startled by the sudden light without a candle being lit. He darted a look at Aravis, then back at the light.

"Try it," she offered.

"Don't we have to blow it out before it's relit?"

Aravis flicked the switch again.

The room went dark.

Hwin ignored the humans' strange conversation and the flickering light in the interest of thoroughly investigating the room. And trying to be Very Very Delicate about where she placed her hooves.

A dog wandered out of the bathroom, carrying a ball in his mouth. It fell when he barked a greeting, recognizing his much larger friend from before!

"Hello, Ata," Hwin said with a friendly whicker to the dog. "You've grown!"

Ata yipped, bouncing at her happily. He was confused, but gleefully so.

Hwin laughed and reached over to nuzzle him and possibly steal the ball.

"It can blow the magical candle out as well?"
