DOUJINSHI GET!

So I had to spend way too much time at school today retaking quizzes. It was boring and time-consuming and just auuuugh. I was so beat by the time I left the library.

BUT THEN

I got home and in my mailbox was a big ol envelope from The Netherlands! :DDDDD

IT CONTAINED THREE ADORABLE DOUJINSHI THE CONTENTS OF WHICH SHALL BE DETAILED HENCEFORTH

The first one was an OshiGaku (my first PoT OTP!) doujinshi about them being at school and playing tennis and eating takoyaki. And also had some random little things like Jiro being a poor substitute for Kabaji (as far as Atobe is concerned anyway) and Choutarou being a giant puppy. And, oddly enough, one of the cutest drawings of the Jimmies I've ever seen.

The second one was InuKai and revolved around them just generally being really awkward. I LOVED IT. Kaidoh was all blushy and Inui was like "Hi, I have some grip tape, I remember you said you needed some grip tape" and then they ate lunch together eventually. <3 Also there was some awkwardness angst but they got over it.

The third one was TakaFuji and EEEEE IT WAS SO CUTE OMG. It had two stories in it. The first one was about birthdays, and the second one was about cacti. CACTI OF LOVE. And then there was a little thing at the end of the cacti story wherein Yuuta came home and Taka was there and Yuuta watched Taka and Fuji interact for a bit and was like "...Why do I feel like I'm in a newlywed couple's house? OH GOD" and then he never came home again (this may be somewhat exaggeration on my part but I swear it said something to the effect of "Yuuta didn't come home as often after that"). IT WAS SO GREAT. The birthday story was adorable too, and I liked the art in that one better.

One thing that I loved about all these doujinshi was that nothing much happened in them. They were just cute little "here's what we did today" kind of stories. The InuKai one had the closest thing to a plot I guess, but it was mostly just "here are three days in which they were total failboats in love." GOOD TIMES. I would totally scanlate them except that I don't want to hurt the bindings. Maybe I'll do the TakaFuji one because it's staple-bound and adorable fluff that everyone needs to see.

prince of tennis, doujinshi is sometimes nice, i love taka-san
