There's a lot to organize.. but I want to do this now. It'll keep my mind off of--well. The obvious.

Mechanics.

I'm really glad to see that you guys are still here, but I think that we need to get moving. We have no base of operations, but we've got a lot of stuff laying around in the old auto shop that needs to be relocated, and it's not going to be easy. Still, I think we need to do it soon; the high school is without power, and we've got a ton of other projects to clear. I was thinking, and maybe we should start looking into taking one of the warehouses. There's a ton of empty work space there, but we have to clear it out first. That means getting in there with a team of fighters and clearing out whatever monsters may be around there. If anyone has any other ideas, I'd really like to know them, because I'd totally rather not have to deal with those things!

Once we get that under control, I think the next step should be transporting everything that we can take and use from the old auto shop, and moving it to the new place. Then we can start on the real work: gathering supplies to build solar panels, and working on generators for backup electricity. Ed suggested using those to store electricity for emergencies.

I want to see if we can't take apart what's left of those cars in the auto shop. They're still standing, but the roofs caved in and the tires are melted. The engines are in tact, save for small denting and a few wires that we really can't save. We can take those apart to build generators!

Either way, we need to figure this out and get to work, soon. No matter what.

Oh! On that note, I need a few strong guys (and girls!) who'd be willing to help us mechanics move! The only really big task would be moving the engines, because those are heaviest. Maybe we could build something to transport them on?

Also:

Kaneda!

It's really rough, and really quick, but everyone here is kind of freaking out over that heebie-jeebie bad omen thing, so I had nothing else to do.

I don't want to push it, but I think I can at least build the front casing. The solar panels are on the front, and on the sides as part of the front wheel's shell. They'd be connected by wiring that moves through and into the engine. Which, by the way, I'm going to have to take apart so that I can make it actually run on electricity and not any kind of fuel like eco or gas. She'd charge on her own, as long as you don't use her every hour of every day, and the speeds would remain in tact. Pretty snazzy for a place like this, if I do say so myself!

The work would take at least a month. Maybe two. Not counting gathering the supplies we need for this.

Man, do I feel productive. ♥

Gohan? Did Yamcha find you yet?

do not want creepiness, kaneda, discedo fails, heebie-jeebies, gohan, distraction get, stfu and listen to me, mechanics, yamcha
