[Lying a few feet away from the fountain is a red robot. Or at least, that's what it seems like. He opens his eyes and sits up.]
Ugh... dammit. Feels like someone ran my head through a trash compactor a few times. What the hell happened...
[He looks around a bit before standing up.]
This can't be right... Wasn't I just...? And who the hell repaired me? Nevermind figuring out how the hell I got here in the first place. Something's definitely not right here.
[And so he tries activating his communicator.]
Maverick Hunter Base: This is Zero. Do you copy? Alia? X? Commander Signas? Anyone?! ...Nothing but static. Well, this is great. Either someone's got some serious signal jamming going on, or Base isn't responding period. This is starting to feel more and more like a bad dream...
[He finally sees the recording device and picks it up.]
I'm being watched, too, huh? And it just keeps getting better and better...
