I know it's weird that I'm still hung up on this whole 2017 thing but I first read All Our Wrong Todays that year. Well it was released that year but damn I latched onto it. This is the first time I technically reread it but if you've known me long enough you know I was always attached to it. Funnily enough though Wonder Woman and more importantly (well to me lol) Professor Marston and the Wonder Women also came out that year. Interesting interesting.
And yes my icon adheres to who I'm imagining as Penny (AND ANGIE BITCH AHAHAHAHA) currently. Feels good to slip right back into my Margo hyperfixation too. Enough time passed so I can actually watch the last season of Magicians without getting too sad now and it's not bad so far! Miss my girl.
Funnily enough though, I got my laptop back and have been going through pics, deleting a lot of stuff, when I found an old Reggie/Margo graphic I had slapped together quickly during my crossover poll back in 2020. I thought at first I did it to be a cheeky bitch about Saga but now it was made for Reggie/Margo specifically. And it's wild how one random little thing you made years ago can smack you in the face because I was like WHOAHHHH SHE'D MAKE A GREAT ANGIE!!!
I like how this has been kinda simmering at the back of my mind because I absolutely do remember putting them in Fionavar too, just not as a couple. (That will soon be remedied.) I can also admit finally that yeah the Saga fandom on tumblr killed my enjoyment of it. She doesn't even really look that much like Alana, I was just going by what Fiona Staples LITERALLY SAID. I could see another half Indian/half mixed actress in that role, but lord knows people don't actually care about accuracy so what does it matter who I fancast for that anymore.
Either way y'all can't have her now, and you can't have Charles Melton either! You fucking wish!
As you've seen me bitching about this before, I'm also so sick of seeing actresses 9 years younger than actors in stuff when the characters are supposed to be the same age. So lately my Angie actresses have been a couple of years older than Charles Melton. Still not to THAT level because again I hate that shit, but it's my form of rebellion. And you can see that these actresses work SO well for her too so I know I'm right.
