Oh wow, those last two chapters have absolutely overwhelmed me. It's a fantastic story and very well-written, I enjoy reading it tremendously. But it really tugs at my heartstrings so I'm a bit lost for words now...
The whole Stevie/Nando blow-up has been very realistic and intense. It was inevitable but still really painful - just like real life! Kudos to you for depicting this whole mess of men and feelings so well. Sergio giving in to be Fernando's fuck buddy made me sad, he must like him very much if he allows himself to be used like that... But I cannot hold a grudge against Fernando, there's just so much unprocessed hurt and anger in him that I just wanna hug him.
I gotta admit that the whole Stevie/Xabi storyline isn't as intriguing to me, but maybe I'm biased ;) Still, I'm glad that Stevie follows his stars and moves to NYC, and I'm glad that he's wishing to reconcile with/say goodbye to Fernando. And I'm curious about the S/X date!
I think it somehow completes the story that you brought in the whole gay bullying aspect. Of course it would work as a complicated love story in itself, but the back story makes Fernando complete as a character imo. Plus, it's such an important issue and part of the daily life of countless teens and I love how you're introducing and building the topic up slowly. It shows a lot of sensitivity on your part ♥
The video is great, too, thanks for including it! I simply love that Fernando turns his negative past into something positive by writing about it and that you made him a part of the "It gets better" campaign.
Okay, I'll end this rant with a big thank you for this great story. I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter!
