it infuriates me irrationally that ang lee won best director over george clooney.
not only is 'brokeback mountain' not nearly as fantastic a movie as 'good night and good luck' (which i literally think is a PERFECT movie), but much of that is because ang lee is not a very good director. i was relieved that 'brokeback' didn't get best score although it did get best song. possibly the music of that movie was the worst part. ugh.
it's still going on but otherwise the golden globes have been pretty good this year. lots of funny speeches.
