Stupid, crazy people and their stupid, crazy driving. Gah! It's so weird, because I used to be paranoid while driving when I was younger (11/12), then I was fine until I drove a couple of times, and now I'm super scared of it. I find myself telling my mother to slow down or use the brakes and she's getting pissed off with me, but it's not just her. Whenever I drive in the car with other people I get scared as well, but I just don't say anything because they're not my mother. ;)

I will eventually start driving, but the price of petrol is so fricking high! I don't want to waste it pottering around. And plus I'm lazy. Why spend my Sunday afternoons driving crappily when I could be lying on my couch watching TV? :P I'm so scared of going fast though. When I go out on practice runs I don't go faster than 40km/h. Yes, it's lame, but that's so fast when I'm the one controlling the car! Once I went 50km/h (the speed limit) and it felt like I was going a million miles an hour. I can't imagine being on the motorway going 100km/h. *weeps at the thought*

I used to be really quiet at my work. Once this chick said to me "You're very quiet, aren't you?". Lol. I was just always a bit shy, but I've finally gotten over myself and talk to lots of people now. It's fun.

Well, you totally have valid reasons to be afraid of driving. There are complete pyschos out there. Granted some of them are actually courteous drivers but most of them are just insane. Once I was in a car with a guy friend and he was speeding and I literally could see my life flashing before me LOL but yeah, like you I didn't say anything because they're not my family and I'm in no position to say anything.

OMG yes. I am spending, like, RM200 per month just on petrol. Crazy I tell you. It must be even worse for you guys though, because petrol here is already quite heavily subsidized by the govt. Dude, seriously if you're driving an auto car, 100 km won't feel that fast. When I drove manually, it definitely felt too fast because you could hear the engine whirring if you stepped on the accelerator too much. But with my car now, I'll be cruising along and suddenly notice that I'm driving at 100 km because you don't feel how fast you're going. Scary. But I agree with you, it's better to be driven than to drive. Much less stress that way, trust me. ;)

You shy? Hehe, I'm sorry but it's a little hard to imagine because you always sound so sarcastic and totally badass online. But then again, I'm the same way. Around people I don't know, I'm practically silent but then my friends are so surprised when they get to know me because I talk dirty and make very sarcastic comments, which they totally don't expect coming from someone like me. :P

Nope. *pouts childishly* Damn channels won't show it. They're showing PB though... but I don't watch (even though I want to) because the time SUCKS and I'm in bed by then because of work the next day.

My mum spends NZ$120 a month on petrol (which is RM270 if I'm working it out right) and we have a tiny car and don't travel that much. The price of petrol here is fucking ridiculous and is the opposite of subsidized. There's 47.4% tax. I thought that was insane when I read it, but doing some research shows that NZ is one of the least taxed and cheapest places to buy petrol. Which is weird because it seems so expensive. Ah well.

Lol. I'm better now, but I used to be incredibly shy. Even online. I didn't really start talking on forums until 2003 when I'd gotten the net in 2001. I can be a bit of a loudmouth sometimes, but only in certain circumstances. ;)

Although I know what you mean by being too tired, because I've had a 40 hour a week job for the last couple of months and a lot of nights I'm just all "Feh" about being online and just want to go to bed. Kinda makes you wonder how much the Americans and British are paying for their car expenses. *shudder* I know that in England, they have peak hour charges... so they basically get stuck in really bad traffic AND have to pay through their noses for it. Yeah well, I'll admit to not working so hard now. I actually get to go home when the sun's still up which is nice compared to the 12-13 hours a day I used to work. How's your work BTW? Any annoying people you just want to bitchslap? :P
