CNY is over. *sobs* More importantly, the holidays are over. Overall, it was an okay week. We got visits from relatives and friends, the open house went well and I probably put on a few pounds from all the sugary goodness I had all week LOL. And oh, we got so much chocolate as gifts! There are about 6 or 7 different types for me to choose from. Mmm.

Oww. My shoulder hurts. :( Again, I don’t know why that is, but it’s been pretty sore on and off for a while now. It feel okay right now but I just know the pain’s coming back soon. Argh.

Things I Did With My First Salary

• Bought the Garden State DVD because I saw it at Movie Magic and remembered hearing about how brilliant it is. I haven’t watched it though.
• Gave my parents RM250 each. Obviously, that’s nothing compared with what they’ve given to me over the years because they’re such amazing parents but I still wanted to give something back to them. And I made them promise to spend it all on themselves and NOT my siblings or me LOL.
• Bought four tops, a jacket, a pair of pants and court shoes for work. The tops were so bloody cheap (less than RM80 for all) and I picked them out in 10 minutes or so. Heh I love bargains.
• Got two birthday presents for my friends. There’s this really great shop in Wan U that has beautiful jewellery so I bought two necklaces from there.

Speaking of my friends, we went out on Tuesday. I got there early because I hadn’t had any time before that to buy presents. So I did that, met Suet Nee and we walked around a bit while waiting for Maheran to turn up. We went to Chilli’s for lunch and everything was delicious and we were opening up presents like it was Christmas LOL (I got my very belated present from Maheran… a pretty sequined turquoise top and I finally gave her the souvenir I bought for her in Australia) when POOF! The whole mall had a blackout. Terence was in the cinema watching the geisha movie so I called him and luckily he had watched most of it when the lights went out. He had some lunch and went home first since there was no way he could watch the ending. The lights came back on after about 15 minutes and we resumed exploring the mall and shopped for stuff. I miss just hanging out with them because now we’re all busy and can’t see each other much so it was awesome to catch up with them.

I think that almost everyone in the LJ fandom has heard of this already but if you didn’t… This person (limeybean) faked her death in LJ, so people actually believed she died of tuberculosis and mourned over her. But then someone got suspicious and did some digging around and found out that she was faking all of it. Her journal was filled with (presumably) so many angry comments that she had to close it down. *sigh* LJ can be such a weird/disturbing place sometimes. That’s all I’m saying about this.

Could David Anders look any finer in a suit?!!! *drools uncontrollably* More pics here He makes me want to watch Alias again. Almost.

1. What's the first word that comes to mind when you think of me?
2. Go to http://images.google.com/ and search for that word.
3. Reply to this post with one of the pictures on the first page of results (don't tell me the word right away let me guess at it).
4. Put this in your own blog so that I can do the same.

Does anyone watch Las Vegas? I’m slowly but surely starting to love the show, although Delinda= much dislike. She annoys the hell out of me. She doesn’t do much, and her oblivion to almost everything around her usually gets the other staff into trouble and I’m sorry but a grown woman who still calls her father “Daddy” just seems childish. The rest of the cast are awesome and non-annoying though. And it doesn’t hurt that the lead male character is possibly one of the prettiest/hottest guys ever to appear on television. Mmm Josh Duhamel is so fine.

I’ve made another friends’ cut… a pretty small one this time though. *feels all guilty again* Ugh. I’m almost completely satisfied with my flist right now. Okay. Off I go (soon). I shall go attempt to study read some Public Rulings that I have to know for work purposes.
