Okay, so I think I'm going to give EFT a try on a couple of issues I've been holding on to for too long. Would you recommend working with a practioner if I'm apprehensive about trying it first by myself? I'm sure there must be someone practicing EFT in Wellington.
Well, most practitioners tend to be (also) psychologists or psychiatrists - so they charge at those rates - ie, $80/hr and up. A guy I know here charges $160/hr - and he's not even a trained psych-anything. That's pretty pricey

That's funny, I did think to myself after my comment that maybe I could use tapping on my nervousness about doing EFT on my own as a way to start without feeling too overwhelmed by dealing with something BIG straight away! You're absolutely right though, I think that is a very decent way to start.
