(no subject)
My birthday was last thrusday! It was good. Last year of being a teen, thats weird. It was a pretty low key bday though. Just went to dinner with my favorite people in the world and then baked cookies! It was good. :)
Lately my life has been consisting of the following:
Working
Hanging w/ friends (when possible)
Sleeping
Quoting Superbad
Going out to eat
Falling in love with a boy (or rather man) from California who worked next to me for a week (and will never see again)
Laughing
Putting music on my iPod
Working
Shopping
Building snow tunnels (when there is snow)
Seeing Ingrid Michaelson (
Guitar Hero (when @ Niks)
NOT getting my vert. lab. pierced (because my parents will hate me if I do. they just need sometime to think about it, I think (more like hope))
Getting a Holiday bonus! :D
Becoming Assistant manager?

Christmas was today!!! It was good. I got a desk for my room& I'm so pumped! I finally have a place to sit in peace and do my homework! :D Yay! I also got an iPod (even though it was suppose to be my brothers, it was the wrong one, so I offered to keep it). And a new straightener! And SCRUBS! :D Seasons 2-4. I haven't watched any yet becasue I watched Pirates of the Carribean w/ my mom. Which is so good. I forgot how good it was. Today was just a good day. I was happy. Not becasue of the presents, but because everything just felt good. There was a good energy in the house, I love christmas, really. It really brings my family together, I love them.
Speaking of good energy, I'm kind of feeling this sense of clarity lately. Maybe it's winter break (even though I haven't hadn't much of a break becasue I work pretty much everyday) or maybe things are just settling down and falling into place. I feel good about myself! Besides the fact I've been eating too much lately (stupid holidays!) But whatevs. I love my friends and I've finally come to terms with the fact that I can't rush school stuff. It will work itself out, I just have to keep working hard and I'll find what I'm meant to do. AND I have to just wait for a boy to come along, or for me to find one, whatev. It will happen. Maybe just not now. And that's ok. Really. Ok, I'd like to be with someone, but it's just not in the cards for me right now.
Oh& I'm an assistant manager at my work now! Cool? I knew it was coming, so I'm not really suprised. It's cool I guess. I love my job, so I don't mind.
It's getting late though, and I'm tired. I hope everyone had a good Christmas! :)
