The Breeding Center's been exceptionally busy lately. Ridiculously busy. I just... ergh. I just got back home for the day and I'm exhausted. Sho-kun, please accept my apologies about the late birthday wishes; it's been a hectic time for me lately. You had a good birthday, right?
I think I need to hire more help. It's just me every day at the Center, day in and day out, and I can barely handle it. I talked to Darren today about coming in more often and he sounded interested, so maybe I'll take him on as a part-time worker. Or a business partner or something. He knows more about breeding than me anyway, so it'd probably be insulting to suggest he works under me. Hm.
The Daycare couple fixed my Pokegear like I'd hoped - I did, in fact, have outdated software. It's a relief to know that I wasn't behind on the species because of my own carelessness. For those of you who haven't upgraded, they told me that most department stores and Radio Stations have the upgrade also. It's a big relief, knowing that I'm up-to-date on this whole world now.
Other than all that, it's been relatively quiet lately. Nino's been staying late at the studio for recording, so we haven't had much mutual home time lately. It's a little difficult to get used to, though it's not too far off from our lives in Tokyo, really. I hope I can get used to it again soon.
