Well, it happened. Cubone evolved. I'd been meaning to go back to the Pokemart and buy her an Everstone like the one Bidoof carries around, but with all the excitement of people coming in to visit, I'd forgotten completely. It's my fault, I know it is, but I can't help being upset about it happening.
She's Marowak now, and she really does look so much older. She's larger, more solid, and looks like she could legitimately win a battle now. She seems so happy about the change, but her Pokedex entry isn't making me any more comfortable about the change. It says she's ferocious and savage, that she's become this way after overcoming great grief. My Cu- Marowak. My Marowak isn't like that. She's not bitter and she's not cold. But maybe she will be.
With Marowak's new form, all of my Pokemon are as fully evolved as they can be. Maybe I should try training again, or at least taking them out to get some practice in with the wild Pokemon in the area. I'm starting to get the feeling that I might have a lot of free time on my hands in a few weeks, so I might as well pick up a hobby.
