I'm sure I would appreciate them, then. But in terms of work, you really should find something, even if it's just taking odd jobs around whatever town you're in. Money is, of course, extremely important.

Did anyone tell you to find a Pokecenter yet? Whenever you do find civilization, they're the red-roofed buildings in every town. The nurse there (most likely named Nurse Joy, if any of the other towns are anything to go off of) can help you get situated.

Yup! I was told to go to the Pokecenter right after I manage to get out of the forest and get my map working... I really need to get on top of this to do: list.
