Raven's artes

For my own reference mostly! But if anyone else wants to look at it: Raven's fighting style is a bit weird. He uses a bow in general, but can switch to a knife at close range once he learns a skill (Change Style), and he also has some magic. This is a list of all his special attacks, by category! He also generally doesn't say his attack names, like most other characters do, and has fairly interesting spell "incantations." I have included what he says when performing some of the attacks for your edification and entertainment. /o/

Knife Around Base Arte: Double slash with your knife and blade. Just Like Dancing Arcane Arte: Twirl and slash with your knife and blade. "Ah, such grace!" Heaven's Tear Arcane Arte: Send an enemy in the air with your blade, then follow by an arrow attack. Around and Around Altered Arte (from Around): Double slash with your blade and knife, then continue to swirl and slash. Rain of Heaven's Tears Altered Arte (from Heaven's Tear): Slash an enemy repeatedly in midair. Cloud of Heaven's Tears Altered Arte (from Heaven's Tear): Acrobatically slash an enemy in midair. Change Style Violet Snake (becomes Violet Weasel at knife range) Base Arte: Crouch and fire an arrow at an enemy. Falling (becomes Flying at knife range) Arcane Arte: Jump and fire an arrow at the enemy. "Such luster!" Crime (becomes Punishment at knife range) Arcane Arte: Fire a series of arrows at the enemy. The Wind's Howl (becomes The Wind's Rage at knife range) Arcane Arte: [element: wind] Fire a swift, powerful arrow at the enemy. Bow Rain Base Arte: Fire an arrow of light at enemies in front. Cause an explosion on enemies with Guard Break. Bouquet Base Arte: Shoot an arrow through the enemy's heart. Temporarily inflicts Charm on the enemy. Serpent Base Arte: [element: stone] Fire a magic arrow in the ground to set off an explosion when enemies move over the area. Glimmer of Heaven Base Arte: Shoot an arrow to the sky and have it fall back down on an enemy moments later. Love Shot Base Arte: Send an arrow to cure an ally low in HP. Can you feel the love? "Who loves ya baby?" Dark Chase Base Arte: Send an arrow to slowly chase after an enemy. Cyan Instant Arcane Arte: Shoot arrows around you to attack all enemies in the way. Azure Heavens Arcane Arte: Shoot an arrow high up into the sky to cause multiple arrows to fall onto enemies in the area. Falling Stars Arcane Arte: Fire an arrow that gradually gains speed and power at an enemy. Rainsong Altered Arte (from Rain): Cause arrows shot during Guard Break to explode with Taunt. Rain Down Altered Arte (from Glimmer of Heaven): Fire an arrow high in the sky and wait patiently for the arrow to hit the enemy. Falling Further Altered Arte (from Falling): Jump in the air to fire an arrow powerful enough to break the ground to pieces. "Even more luster!" The Growing World Altered Arte (from Falling Stars): Arrows hitting the enemy will break off into smaller arrows, hitting nearby targets. Magic Wind Blade Novice Spell: [element: wind] Slash and crush enemies with a wind blade. "C'mon wind, knock 'em around and cut 'em down! Wind Blade!" Arrivederci Intermediate Spell: [element: wind] Cause a small whirlwind to send enemies flying. "All my heart, baby, all my love. Get outta here!" Havoc Gale Advanced Spell: [element: wind] Send a violent tornado that blocks enemy movement then crushes with inner air pressure. "Howl and rage, o mighty vortex. Havoc Gale!" Vanji Lost Advanced Spell: [element: wind] Hit enemies with a ray of light and temporarily inflict Charm. "Blossom of light, blind them with your beauty. Vanji Lost!" Inverno Altered Arte (from Arrivederci): [element: wind/water] Bring forth a sharp glacier from beneath the enemy. "Crazy... slippery... crackly... boom! Inverno!" Tempest Altered Arte (from Havoc Gale): [element: wind/fire] Call forth a huge hurricane and lightning to strike the enemy. "Looks like a storm is brewing. Tempest!" Stop Flow Altered Arte (from Vanji Lost): Interference with aer stops time temporarily. "Let me borrow some time and I'll pay ya back later. Stop Flow!"
