I do not see what my mother has to do with the situation.

If I have time to vaccuum, do the laundry, mop, construct the chore chart spreadsheets, go grocery shopping, run the Young Democrats, and sort the recyclables then you most certainly have time to clean up after your own mess. This is clearly a case of improper time management.
