[She cocks her head to look at him over her shoulder, her ears twitching toward him. Her arms trembling, she slowly pushes herself to her feet, only to have her right leg almost buckle as soon as she puts her weight on it.]

Yeah, I'm fine. My right leg's just a bit weak, is all. Hellbeast got me in the ghost town, nearly chewed it off.
Don't mind the help, though.
[She glances down at the photo in her hand and sighs. It's a photo from sometime after she was found in the basement of the haunted house. One that she knew had never been taken.]
This town has a hell of a sense of humor, Quinn.

[He'll walk her slowly inside. He gets a good look at the ears too, as they do.] So ya really weren't kiddin' with all the wolf references, huh.

[Her ears droop and she whines softly, the limp in her right leg noticeable. There's a band of pale fur across the back of both ears, and it appears that both ears have been pierced twice.]
Not at all. If you think that's bad, you should see my roommate. She's a snake.

[Setting her down on the couch now.] Alight. Catch your breath. Ya want me to call an ambulance, or do ya think ya can make it to the car in a bit?

[She sinks into the couch, sprawling out and panting as she tips her head back.]
I don't care, whatever's easiest is fine. Give me a moment, I should be able to make it to the car.

Sounds like a couple of my coworkers want to come and poke at me a bit. Think we should wait for them here first?

[She grits her teeth and hisses a little as she tries to get into a more comfortable position, her fangs gleaming. An awkward laugh escapes her and her tail flops against the couch cushions.]
I'd almost completely forgotten how much this had hurt.

[She thinks, her ears drooping as Mika rests her head on the back of the couch.]
I can't think of anything that doesn't involve a ridiculously large amount of pain killers.
