[A. 339 Brady Lane]

Breakfast's ready!

[Guess what guys, Mika has made a massive amount of scrambled eggs! Considering what she put in them you'd think she'd been making an omelet before giving up! Diced tomatoes, green peppers, bacon, cheese, a little bit of onion, with large stacks of bacon and sausages on the side. For Annie she left a plate ( Read more... )

[Well, HIS ears perk up in interest on what the sudden scream was about only to see someone dashing on off from one side of the street to another.

... well, he's going to keep enjoying eating this scrambled egg and bacon sandwich his drone wife made him and watches this like it's a show.]

[Well, it's not much of a show to be honest. Mika just keeps running and screaming until she somehow manages to trip over nothing but her own feet and send herself sprawling across the asphalt.]

[Oh. Wow. That looked painful... somebody should go out and help them.

... omnomnomnom.]

Are you okay over there?

[She groans, an almost canine-like whine escaping her as she pushes herself up. Kanata you are so helpful.]

No, not really.

[He perks an ear up from the whine and finishes the last of his sandwich. Hey, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, okay?]

Still, that looked like a nasty drop you had there. You might want to come inside and clean up any injuries you might have there.

's just a few scrapes, I'll be fine.

[Nevermind that one of her knees is bleeding and both of her hands are stinging.]

I can smell that all the way over here. You might want to at least clean it up before it gets infected with anything. I don't know what the hurry was but taking care of yourself first would be a good idea, isn't it?

There is a corpse hanging from the gate of the recreational center, with words carved into the body. And you can't smell that?

I've been used to zombies, vampires and other undead groups that tend to come by Empyria too many times. It's just something I've gotten used to that it doesn't really bother me anymore.

... speaking about undead people, I should pay Pamela a visit sometime. I wonder if she turned back into a ghost now?

Yes because scents like that in a place like this are obviously normal too.

[She's irritated and bristly and is not above snapping when she's upset. Her growls sound strange though, now that she's human.]

Maybe you should go check.

[Tooooootally not fazed at all from her growling and snapping.] More common than you probably think. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you haven't been here long, have you?

[He'll shift his eyes over to the direction where the corpse is at and then shrugs.] And in one day, whoever's body that is will be back walking around the next day like nothing happened at all.

Almost two weeks.

How do you know?

That explains it. Not to say it's not a bad thing, but things like this do tend to happen... either by the higher ups who run this place or the other people who were dragged here too and trapped for their own reasons.

And I know because I've been here for like oooooh... five? Maybe six months? Something around those lines. Death is a cheap thing here.

Oh yes, that'll make everything make so much easier to deal with.

And what says it's going to stay that way?
