[In the hangar, Lyle is climbing out of his Gundam. His haro bounces out after him.]

Hey Haro, how'd I do that time?

94%! 94%!

...What was Neil's record?

92%! 92%!

We'll I'll be damned.

*Anew is clapping happily*

I think this calls for celebration.

You just want an excuse.

You're almost sounding like you think that's a bad thing.

I happen to think it's a very good excuse!

Good to know. Having too low of an opinion of yourself is just as bad as too high of one.

Incidentally, knowing how well you're doing is a good sign for the final planned improvement to the Cherudim, so this is perfect timing as well.

You've got more tricks up your sleeves? You really are incredible.

Oh, you have Ian and everyone else on the Ptolemaios to thank for this. I guess you could say I just take care of on-site construction and research.

Anyways, this is really just an expansion of the Shield Bit system you have now. These new Rifle Bits will take care of all your remote firing needs so you don't have to sacrifice your Shield Bits to do so.

Because if there's anything Cherudim needs, it's more firepower. I am behind you 100% on this.

If that's what you need Lyle, then more firepower you shall-

*Anew's voice cuts off as she finds herself going dizzy for a moment. For a single split-second her eyes seem to take on a golden light before she manages to regain control of herself*

A-apologies, Lyle. Perhaps I've been spending too much time juggling too many small-scale projects.

You alright? I know the engineering crew is busy around here, but if you're spacing out like that, I think that's a sign you need a rest.

You're probably right. One day's R&R away from the infirmary and labs should probably sort things out for me.

See if you can get two or three. I propose a backpacking trip. After living on a space station for months, I think a bit of nature might do us both good.

Indeed it would. Any place in particular?

I just had the idea right now, so not yet. I'll do some research, see what looks good.
