Character's Name: Reepicheep
Character's Sex: Male
Character's Age: Unknown
Canon point: Just before the end of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, before he goes off to enter Aslan's Country.

Abilities:
Despite descending from ordinary dumb (if noble) mice, Reepicheep, is a rather intelligent, agile and witty mouse. He wields a fine rapier of dwarf-tempered steel, nearly as long as his tail with impressive ability. Able to take down men much taller than him with this combination of skill and acrobatics. It has been implied (if not directly shown) that he is certainly capable of hogtying a feline with the aid of some of his fellow mice. He is also shown to be an excellent swimmer.

Reepicheep a fine adviser to Prince and then King Caspian, as well as a Knight in the Most Noble Order of the Lion. Not to mention, the mouse can play a rather good game of chess (when he keeps his mind on the fact its a game of strategy and not an actual battle.)
Strengths: He's an excellent swordsman, his intelligence and wit is just as sharp and keen as his blade. He's as agile in mind as he is in body. He gains strength from paopu fruit.
Weaknesses: He's unfortunately rather small, and also not nearly as strong as those with larger bodies. He doesn't much care for icecream, its too cold and sweet and it makes a mess of his fur.

Background: "You're a... Mouse." "...I was hoping for something a little more... original."

Appearance: Full Body & Upper body

Personality: Great things often come in small packages. At only two feet tall, Reepicheep is a mouse with a rather fearless outlook on most things. When most people ask 'Why?' do something, the mouse is often one to go 'Why not?'. He's adventurous to a fault and as he says once to Eustace, his home is filled with books about the adventures and mishaps of many great heroes. When the crew of the Dawn Treader would have turned back or away from the darkness surrounding one island in the book, he's the one who insisted and provoked them into going into it. Boldly proclaiming when they first heard the voice in the darkness yell at them, "If you are a foe we do not fear you, and if you are a friend your enemies shall be taught the fear of us."

Reepicheep has a sense of humor, though when used sometimes, it comes off almost smart-alecky or sarcastic in manner. He shows it off once in the movies, when responding to a comment by Pattertwig about collecting nuts. "Oh yes, and then we can throw them at the Telmarines."

Honor and respect is very much a part of him and very important to him. When Eustace grabs hold of his tail in both book and the movie, it riles the mouse something fierce and in the book he attacks the boy for his audacity, demanding a duel from him as a means of satisfaction. His tail is extremely important to him, for more than the obvious reasons of usefulness and balance. After the Battle of Aslan's How, the mouse chief suffered from near-fatal wounds of which Lucy healed with her cordial, but as he discovered when he presented himself to Aslan; he had lost his tail in the battle and was rather miserable and somewhat shamed of its loss. He confesses his belief that the tail is the honor and glory of a mouse and questioned on the matter of thinking too much of his honor, claimed that due to their small statures that if they didn't guard their dignity in such a manner, that others would think nothing of trampling it. When Reepicheep's people drew their swords to remove their own tails so that they would not bear the shame of having the honor of a tail when their own chief was without one, Aslan restored Reepicheep's tail due to the love his people showed for him and as thanks for the old noble act their ancestors had done for Aslan. This humbled Reepicheep somewhat and he resolved to treasure the tail and allow it to remind him of that humbled moment in time.

Reepicheep has a good heart and does not seem to hold a grudge, for when Eustace becomes a dragon and is laying miserable due to it at nights, the mouse makes an honest attempt to comfort him and possibly cheer him up, becoming a good friend of his despite Eustace's earlier vile words and acts against him.

The reason for Reepicheep's presence on the Dawn Treader was due to a verse that a Dryad sung over him as a babe in the woods.

Where sky and water meet,
Where the waves grow sweet,
Doubt not, Reepicheep,
To find all you seek,
There is the utter East.

He tells Lucy and the others that the words have stayed with him his entire life and when he heard that Caspian was setting sail to find the seven lords, he joined him with the goal to go east as far as he's capable of going and perhaps, just perhaps make it to Aslan's Country. It is his greatest desire to go on this last great adventure to it, or die in trying to reach it.

Strengths: Once he befriends you or calls you a comrade, you won't find a stouter, more loyal companion. His intelligence and honesty make him something of an excellent adviser to those willing to listen. He also has a keen sense of strategy when he chooses to exercise it.
Weaknesses: His fearless courage and thirst for adventure can often be dangerous to himself and his friends. Also his ideas about battles and the way knights should act on the field of battle can and once have put him in dire danger before and in the less serious matter of chess games can end up causing him to lose when he forgets that it's a game and not an actual battle.

Are you friend or foe? [There is the sound of steel being drawn and then the shrill voice continues.] Be quick about your answers, for I am in a dreadful need to make all possible haste back to where I was taken from if at all possible.

If you are responsible for taking me from my liege's side when they have most need of me, I shall let you taste the steel of my blade and be made to despair that you have ever crossed a knight such as myself.

If you call yourself a friend, I beseech you to send me back to the Dawn Treader from which I came so that I might continue to aid the fighting on it against those dark creatures that threatened their majesties and her good crew.

[The footage opens to show a mouse's face looking into a camera, from his body language it's rather apparent he's aggrieved over something and after a moment he finally speaks.]

Those moogles... surely they can't be right when they claim that Darkness has consumed and destroyed the land of Narnia? Aslan and the kings and queen of Narnia wouldn't have allowed such a thing to befall, I'm certain.

If there is anyone at all whom might know how I may return, I beseech you to tell me of it so I might return to where I am needed at the side of my liege and the others.

RP Sample: When the dark things came it was as sudden and as unexpected as any storm at sea was ought to be. One minute it had been as light and clear and the next it was as if they were somehow once again sailing into that cloud of darkness from before. Except this time creatures with golden eyes came with the darkened skies. The first which appeared were easily enough dispatched by the crew, but as the skies grew fretfully even darker, and the creatures numbers continued to grow despite their seeming success in taking them out. Strange creatures they were, with ebony bodies which turned into so much black smoke when cut through with the sword or hit hard enough with a blunt object.

Yet for all their success in taking the creatures out, it was becoming harder to see them in order to take them on. Caspian and the captain called for torches and lamps to be lit and the crew attempted to obey, trying to protect themselves and those whom were tending to the task. Reepicheep was doing his best to help with the defensive line but no matter how many of these foes he ran through or knocked away, they just kept coming. He shouted encouragement as some began to wonder if the assault would ever end and continued the fight, working his way back toward Lucy who was with Edmund's help, holding their own quite well when he felt something snag hold of his tail just as he dispatched one of the black things in front of him. Twisting around he sought to attack the fiend which dared to lay a hand on his tail. He succeeded in dispatching the thing, but then found he could not move from his current position. Something held his feet fast and firm and no amount of stabbing at the darkness about him enabled him to pull himself free of whatever morass had taken hold of him.

Tendrils, like black serpents rose from the darkness beneath him, seeking it seemed to grab at his tail, his arms or even his ears. For all his struggles against it, he was soon wrapped tight within their embrace and he found himself just struggling to breathe let alone fight.

Then abruptly without warning he found himself breathing fine and after a precious moment to collect himself, he stood and realized at once he was no longer on the ship. When he saw the flying white creature come toward him, he backed up a pace and called out challenge to it, drawing his sword free just in case it was just as malicious as the dark creatures were.
