I'm fine, Ken-san. Just a little shaken up with everything that's been going on, I guess.

Well, ain't nobody gonna blame you for that. Damn, this whole place is falling apart.

[Frustrated Ken is frustrated. He'd ask where all this would end, but honestly? Ken's not at all sure he wants to know the answer to that.]

You don't need any help or anything? Like... like food, or stuff?

I've never seen anything this bad happen around here before.

Well, we've a bit of food left here and Abel-san's got some flood lights up. I think I'll be fine for a little while longer. [She smiles, appreciating the concern.] Thanks though, Ken-san.

As long as you're all gonna be okay... Aya had us all go look for stuff before this all went down so we got enough to spare if you need it.

Yeah, think you might be onto something there. This whole place is just nuts and I guess if it wasn't then that wouldn't be normal, right?

[He shrugs. It makes as much sense as anything else round here.]

Normal enough for here at least. I guess whoever is running the place wants to keep us on our toes.

Yeah... guess it's almost for the best, really. At least we know we gotta stay on guard round here, ain't like everything's normal for years and years and suddenly there's... I don't know, zombies or something. That would be kinda difficult to handle.

[That line of thinking is just... bizarre. Thus, it's enough to get a laugh out of Rise despite how things are looking right now.]

You know, that sounds like something out of a B-rated movie, Ken-san.

[Ken logic. It can be kind of special sometimes. He's glad to see her laugh.]

I already know it helps to keep a tire iron about the place. Oh... and go for the head, that's always a good one. See, zombies are easy.
