Rise nuzzled her face into her upperclassman's back, enjoying the short trip from the club back to the hotel. A few giggles escaped her lips every so often, a definite sign that she was nowhere near sobering up anytime soon.
Everyone had figured that she was much too inebriated to walk on her on when she almost tripped down the short flight stairs from the night club's second landing. If Souji hadn't caught her, she would've definitely taken a pretty rough tumble. Because of this, Yosuke was tasked to carry her on his back the rest of the way. He seemed a little too excited at first (muttering something along the lines of "Wow, I'd bet only Risette's bodyguards get to do something like this!") but Rise was way too out of it to care.
Other than the giggles, she had been relatively quiet throughout the trip. At least until she suddenly tried to sit up on Yosuke's back. The action was almost enough to throw him of balance for a second. "Why wasn't I able to be the King? I wanted a turn toooo~!" Her words came out slow and slurred.
"Whoa! Watch it! You don't want me to go and drop you, do you?" Yosuke was able to regain his balance after the sudden gesture. He let out a sigh as he continued walking. "It's because you practically passed out. I bet you don't even remember how you were swaying towards the stairs."
Another giggle. "That doesn't matteeer. The problem here is that I wasn't able to be Kiiing. I mean like, where's the fun in that?"
Yosuke had opened his mouth to say something, but Rise was quick to interrupt. "I'm okay now, riiight? That totally means we could continue playing~" She started swaying a little, but not enough to knock the boy off balance again.
"Will you sit still?" Yosuke made a face. He was glad that Rise was behind him so she wouldn't see it. "Man, I didn't think you'd be this much of a handful, Rise. I kinda expect it from Chie but she didn't get drunk or anything so I guess we won't be seeing that."
A pout began to form on Rise's lips before she pounded Yosuke on the back with her fist. ("Ow - watch it!) "Why do you have to be such a spoil sport, Yosuke-senpai?" Even in the state she was in, Rise still knew how to pull a few strings when it came to guys. She leaned in close, her mouth mere inches from her companion's ear. "What if I called your number, Senpai? And if I did like Teddie and asked for a --" She paused for a second and made sure she said the final word nice and slow. "--kiss?"
"W-wh-what? R-Rise! Don't kid around like that!"
The girl erupted in laughter as she leaned against Yosuke's back. "Gee, you're so easy, Senpai."
Rise let out a giggle as she pushed herself off her bed. Even if she didn't get to be King that time, she was sure that she would make it happen the next time she got the chance to.
