[The feed turns on to an upset looking Rise. Her eyes are puffy as a few streaks of tears trail down her face. Any other time, she would've minded the image that she put up at least to the public, but something like that just seemed too trivial right now

*Teddie takes his time to go search for Rise. He didn't know this Akihiko guy all that well, but what a jerk! Leaving Rise-chan like that ... It just wasn't right. So when he does find her (wherever she is), he trots up to her with a concerned expression.*

[Luckily she's just sitting in the common room of Dusk, Noireau's head resting on her lap as she leans back on the couch. She raises her head slightly, looking at Teddie as she hears his approach.]

Hey, Teddie. [Not too much enthusiasm there.]

*He sits down to next (with some difficulty) and peers at her.*

Well, I don't really have a shoulder. But I'll be here if you need a shoulder to cry on Rise-chan.

[She turns her head to face him and although there are still tears in her eyes, she can't help but allow a tiny chuckle leave her lips.]

Did Yosuke-senpai tell you to say that to hit on girls?

[It was nice to hear that he was more that willing to help her out like that. And it was even better that one of her close friends from back home were around. It made the pain just a tiny bit more bearable.]

[A pause as she sniffs a little.]

I am sure he would have stayed with you if he had a choice Rise-chan. I mean, he really, really liked you right?

*It was hard to see Rise being so sad - she was one of the more outgoing people of the team too. It just wasn't right. Teddie reaches up to her arm wit his paw.*

[She smiles a little, even if it is sad, at both his comment and the gesture.]

Yeah, I'd like to think he did. [Pause.] And I really, really liked him too...

I'm positive! No guy in right mind would leave behind a girl like you Rise. *Teddie tries to look brave for her sake.*

Who knows? Maybe he'll come back!

[She laughs a little, remembering just how long it took until Akihiko actually made a move. For a little while, she had started to think that things were getting to be hopeless.]

Teddie, you have no idea how hard it was.

*S-she laughed? But why ... Look at this befuddled expression Rise.*

I-It was that hard to get together with him? This Akihiko guy must have been weird ...

It really, really was. Whenever I dropped huge hints, it was like he didn't even notice. Like it would totally go over his head.

[She smiles faintly at the memory, lacing her fingers together as she looked from her friend to the hands on her lap.]

But that's what made him interesting, you know? What made him... different.

Huh ... *Poor Rise. She might have to go through all that trouble again. Teddie is torn between laughing and feeling sorry.*

Well Rise-chan apparently still likes him. Even if it's hard, it's a worth a shot. If he can get those hints, I'll have a man-to-bear talk with him. You can count on it!
