M. Night Fight

So I have used netflix for well over 2 years and have never had a problem recieving a damaged disk until last week. I was going to watch M. Night Shyamalan's first movie "Wide Awake". I took it out of the sleeve and it was horribly cracked and broken...almost shattered actually. Looks like someone stepped on it with a stiletto. I reported it damaged and they promptly sent me another copy. I took it out and it was cracked almost in half. Ummm Do people hate this movie? Do they ruin it so no one else can ever watch it again? What is going on!?! Talk about a twist ending!
"And then...it wasn't a DVD at all, but a secret message from the KGB regarding an alien, Mel Gibson,  who is dead but thinks he's still alive and living in what seems to be times past with no technology and monsters who hate the color red because it reminds them of angry mythological beasts with fur like grass who want to kill them before they can go back to their world of water also known as netflix. And then it self destructs." Yup...that's my theory.
