Good Lord, its been nearly a whole month since my last entry! I have been a busy girl though - this university malarkey is just too darned time-consuming!!!

I finished for Christmas on Friday, cooked Christmas Dinner for everybody and had a night out, then left to catch the train back home to Widnes at 9am on Saturday morning. Very early - too early, actually.
I had to hand a Pattern Tech assignment in on the last day, which, quite tragically, I accidentally deleted the night before which resulted in me crying, whilst Phil trawled the internet for memory-stick recovery software. Luckily, but only hours after suffering the trauma, I checked my university H-Drive, where I had THANK THE LORD, saved my assignment onto the week before. All ended well and I got both assignments submitted on time.

Ooh, I just came across a site called NothingToSeeHere.net, which calls itself "a collaborative travel guide to unusual places", where I found an article on one of my university campuses! You can read about the Toast Rack building, where I have my Garment Tech & Business for Fashion Design lectures HERE.
The buildings you can see under the 'legs' of the toast rack is where my practical Garment Tech and Pattern Tech sessions, and Pattern CAD lessons are taught (the building described as the tailoring workshops in the article).

ITS SNOWING EVERYWHERE! It started in Manchester last week, but even though its only been little flurries here it is still ABSOLUTELY FREEZING! :|

I've used my Where The Wild Things Are icon because I went to see it the other week and IT WAS ADORABLE AND I LOVE IT!
I almost cried several times whilst in the cinema and had to cling to Phil through the entire thing. There's a bookshop in the Northern Quarter called Magma that has a three-in-one book about the design and production from book to movie, but its like £25! They have puppets too and colouring books!
I'm honestly considering getting a Max tattoo on my forearm, but I want to get one in memory of my Nanner before that ♥

I'm gonna grab something to eat now, so I leave you with this SQUEEABLY ADORABLE PHOTO of Spike Jonze and Max Records (which is the awesomest surname btw)

gutted, movies!, escapades!, life, bleurgh:moan, the boyf, working, uni
