All these people drinking lover's spit...

Where the fuck am I meant to begin?

So, for those who never picked up on it, or were added to my f-list too late to hear all the crap about UCAS - I am now a first year uni student, studying Fashion Design & Technology at Manchester Metropolitan Uni and living in a place called Cavendish Halls, which is basically in the centre of Manc.
I have six units this year; Drawing & Presentation, Design Research & Conceptualisation, Fashion Product Design & Development, Pattern Design & CAD Technology, Business for Fashion Design, and Garment Technology.
Drawing & Presentation, Design Research & Conceptualisation and Fashion Product Design & Development are all studied at Cavendish, which luckily for me is in my halls building, just three floors below. I can literally just roll out of bed in the morning when I'm studying here = WIN!
However, Pattern Design & CAD Tech, Business for Fashion Design and Garment Tech are all studied forty minutes down the road at Hollings Campus. This is killer for a person who is asthmatic and just generally unfit, because the only other option of getting there is the Goddamn buses. BUSES IN MANCHESTER ARE A JOKE :| I'm not talking about prices here people, I'm talking about how people have to practically sit on each others knees and you have to make your way to the front of the bus about five stops early just to guarantee that you'll definately get off in the right place!
Apart from the buses though, being at Hollings is far easier than being at Cavendish. Sure, the workload is greater and the days are longer, but everything is just less complicated and requires no "interpretation" of shit - its all just "Do this", so I do it, and its done. Ta da!

And since I haven't really had a full-on explanation of my shennanigans since starting uni, I'll lob these photos of my halls room at you, before I bombarded the sideboards with my shit! Also including, me! with an expression that blatantly reads; "I pulled an all nighter just so I could talk to the IKs" Yeah, you kunts, I gave up sleep for you!!!! The second photo is after my mother shouted at me for the face on the first photograph.
(For the BOBers on my f-list, if you look closely, you can see my Easy Company veteran's book on the shelf there!)

Moving onto the ever dull subject of Jessica's chronic illnesses.
The sore throat that I've cradled since Leeds Fest at the end of August has been passed back and forth between my boyfriend* at least twice in the past month, which is first off DISGUSTING and second; really, really, annoyingly painful and mood-swing inducing. I'm feeling awfully sorry for myself at the moment and sobbing over the fact that pulling sickdays at uni in the first couple of weeks is a no go :|

Off to bed for me now though, it is twenty to three in the morning after all and my sister is coming tomorrow to take me shopping. I am insanely excited for this!
* Why yes, the previously mentioned housemate Phil is now my official boyfriend. Can I get a whoop-a? :D

fashion, band of brothers, books, life, leedsfest, bleurgh:moan, basterds, chums, working, uni, the utter awesome that is my sister
