You know what I like? I like it when I am shopping in a grocery store, and I stop to look over a package of cookies, and a total stranger who happens to be walking by strikes up a conversation about them. "Oh, have you tried those yet? OMG if you like anise you have got to buy those, seriously, you won't regret it. See look, they're only 25 calories each too, so even if you're watching your weight you can have like four of them for your 100-calorie snack! I have to get some every time I come in here." Hee, okay, you convinced me. She was right, they're really good. :)
Do you know I have never had that before? Men are just not approachable in that way. If a guy is looking at a box of cookies, other guys don't come up to him and tell him how good they are. Women certainly don't approach him to tell him how good they are. It's how women treat other women. I feel like I fit in now, I feel like I am part of that group. I feel like I am just one of the girls. Women don't see me as a "stranger" anymore, they see me as a fellow woman and so they treat me that way. It's glorious!
Just a very basic, everyday example of how it matters.
