goodbye, AU. Goodbye, Yatish
On Saturday I concluded a game that has been running since February of 2004. It was set in Monte Cooke's world of Arcana Unearthed. Our characters went from 1st level to 11th in some 40-50 sessions.
The final session went 10.5 hours and was one of the best games I've played in. We wrapped several plot lines and still left the characters room to play in the world. It really felt like the end of a "book 1," where you find out that this mission, that seemed monumental, was really just a small part of something REALLY huge. Sort of like when you graduate high school and think "there was the biggest accomplishment of my life," then you look forwards and you're like, "oh... LIFE."
So yeah, that was good.
