What is this place? It seems to be a city, that much is obvious... and could we really all be dead? Damn it, things weren't supposed to have gone that badly... even

I like to think I know a few things about this city. Though it's just about, and not how or why, as a warning.

Let's see... Name, Template. Occupation, bringing a bunch of people from different worlds to it. Sometimes people from a world that has a 'Template', like me. And it seems to regularly alternate between just plain pissing us off and trying to kill us.

Namely through 'events'. 'Just pissing us off' would include swapping our gender, turning half of the city into kids, or giving a bunch of people amnesia. Trying to kill us would probably include the whole city turning into some kind of fairytale, with an evil queen trying to kill us, or the city turning into a wasteland, and 'ghosts' trying to lead us to our deaths.
