What is this place? It seems to be a city, that much is obvious... and could we really all be dead? Damn it, things weren't supposed to have gone that badly... even

There are three levels in this city, which is called 'Template'. The first level is the physical level. That is where many of the more 'normal' things happen, such as walking from place to place, shopping, working, and so on.

The second level is the digital level. Here, you can interact with the others who have been brought to Template, all without leaving where you are.

The third level is the spiritual level. No one can access it, but it seems to be the cause of many of the strange events that happen here.

And there you have it.

Well, the city likes to play its little tricks on us. Sometimes they're relatively harmless, like swapping our genders, sometimes it's... more serious.
