Had a busy, but very fun weekend. Friday: my package comes, Halo 1, 2, and 3. Tom and I stay in and play through Halo 1 co-op in a single sitting (~6-7 hours). Saturday morning, wake up to go running at 10am with a group of people in Seattle Anti-freeze (the social group). The scheduled run is 4 miles, which we did in 45 minutes (the longest distance I've ever run at a single time and also a personal record, considering my usual 3 mile time was around that time). Went and got tea/coffee/light breakfast after the run with the group. Talked with them and got a little up to speed with how the group works and some additional events (including a party that night) that we hadn't heard about yet. Went home and wimpered at my legs which were starting to realize what I had done to them. Ran out to Party City and Goodwill to pick up costumes for the party, it was a white trash theme. Grabbed some mullets at Party City, some flannel shirts, sweat pants, overalls, fishing shirt and were ready to rock and roll. The party was a reserved party area with a DJ at a nice bowling alley in the city. Had an awesome time, bowled crappy as usual, met some cool people, danced with some girl. Afterward, went over to one of the organizer's places for a little bit of an after party. Ended up coming home around 4am.
We're doing a really good job of meeting fun people and are getting connections that will help us continue to meet more people and have lots of fun on the weekends. Only thing we need to work on now is how to avoid having to drive home after party nights.
