Hello From Seattle
The good news is that the trip out to Seattle was uneventful. Both flights were on time and no complications with my luggage. No problems with the rental car, directions to the hotel were easy to follow, checked in and breathed a sigh of relief. I hadn't really thought about it, but when I went to bed at 2am (local time), my body thought it was 5am... I slept fairly well but woke up at 8:30 to get breakfast. When I went down for breakfast, I was happily surprised to see a familiar face though. Mike Spear, a CS grad student at UR was milling around the breakfast room. Apparently, he is interviewing for a Fellowship at Microsoft. Small world isn't it?
I've got my interviews at Microsoft in about an hour, so I'm killing a little time before I drive over there. Looks like today will be a much lower stress day than my interview day at Google.
