Anger!
Tomorrow is the last day to buy AppleCare (extended warranty) for my Macbook. As Apple offers education discounts for students, the Western on-campus computer store sells it for that dicounted price - $218. But unfortunately, they're out, and won't have any in stock until next week (too late for me). I'm going to have to buy it from this other Mac store in town, and pay the full price of $299. With tax, that's $248 vs. $340! I'm pretty much flushing nintey-two bucks down the toilet.
